Your purpose is the core piece of your life design. It is the part that drives all the other parts.

Your uniqueness gives you the ability to create value in the world in a way that no one else can.

Vision

Your vision is the vivid picture of the life that you want to create.

The purpose of your vision is to give you something to strive for, a reason to learn, to create, and to build value.

Mission

Your mission outlines what you are going to do in life now in, order to create the life you want.

Many people may have the same vision for their life, but no two people are going to take the same path to get there. Your path, your mission, is unique to you.

Life Areas

Look at your life from the point of view of each of the life areas.

Going through each of the life areas, gives you a way of looking at your life in a more focused way when designing your life.

Values

Values are the core part of Who You are. They affect the decisions you make, and how you feel about any outcome in your life.

To answer the question of what type of person you want to be to achieve your vision, you start with understanding your values.

Beliefs

How are your beliefs helping or hindering your journey to your vision.

Consciously or unconsciously you have started to create your life by the beliefs that you have adopted or learned based on your life experience.

Personality

Your personality is made up of personality traits, strengths and weaknesses, and Interests.

Knowing your personality traits is important in crafting an effective life design.

Habits & Capabilities

What habits do you have that help you on your journey, what habits slow you down?

Habits are the behaviors and thinking patterns that we automatically repeat in our lives. Skills are learned abilities or capacities.

Roles

Understanding the role you are in when you are doing a particular task helps to give meaning to a task.

Roles provide a way of breaking down what you do on a daily, weekly, monthly, yearly basis into different groups or roles.

Goals

Goals are the primary, broad outcomes you wish to achieve in your life.

Without goals we are leaving our lives to random chance. The defining of our goals is the first step of turning your vision into a plan.

Objectives

Objectives are the major steps you are taking towards the goals.

Objectives will be further broken down into tactics or actions.

Execution

If you want different results you are going to have to be different, and this is going to require work.

The problem with execution lies with a lack of awareness of who we are and what we want out of life.
