Our Philosophy on Journaling
Journaling is a powerful agent of change. I believe journaling, specifically digital journaling should become a keystone habit in everyone’s life.
The simple act of writing our thoughts, ideas, plans, goals makes them tangible. It organizes our thoughts and makes the outcomes we are seeking more likely.
Journaling can be used for:
- Creating a Diary of your experiences
- Making and managing life goals
- Self-improvement and self-reflection
The process of journaling helps you:
- Overcome adversity
- Rebounding from life difficulties
- Finding yourself
- Understanding yourself
- Being your own life coach
Our focus is on journaling for designing and living your dream life.
People get stuck because there is so much information available, so many approaches, so much advice.
People are overwhelmed by what they need to do to live the life of their dreams. JournaledLife offers a life design framework and journaling system that breaks down the process into manageable pieces and creates a foundation for pursuing their ideal life.
How JournaledLife Helps You Create a Keystone Journaling Habit
My mission at JournaledLife is to create a set of tools and a framework to journal your life’s journey.
I will produce quality content on journaling, life design and life decisions, and understanding who you are.
There are many famous life coaches who produce amazing information for living a better life. I will incorporate how to include their approaches into your journal.
I will provide exercises and feedback to help you create and journal your life masterpiece.
I will compile lists of effective journal questions and journal prompts to help you make the most of your journaling.
There is so much information available on creating the life you want, but very little on organizing all that information as it relates specifically to you. The goal is to have your unique journey documented so your unique perspective is not lost. Your documented journey is part of your legacy that can be passed on to your children and to society.
Moving to the Knowledge Age
I believe that as we transition from the information age to the knowledge age, and ultimately to the wisdom age, the stories, experiences, and life learnings of individuals are going to become more and more important.
What you have learned and experienced on your unique journey.
What valuable insights can you learn from your journey to this point?
What can others learn who are on similar journeys.
In this time of so many choices, individuals need to purposely design their lives rather than have their lives dictated by random chance. To accomplish this, we need the knowledge of who we are and what our journey has been to this point. Knowing yourself is going to be the most asset you have going forward as the world becomes more connected and you have more choice.
Most people find out who they are and their life purpose slowly. Their journey leaves clues and indications along the path that allow you to discover/create your most fulfilled life. There are nuggets of wisdom along your journey, unfortunately, you may need to grow and evolve before you can see them. The unfortunate part is that by the time you can see it for what it is you have forgotten about it.
Artificial Intelligence is the next game-changing technology. Businesses use AI on their data to find valuable insight. Eventually, individuals will use AI to gain valuable insights on their life journey, but only if they have captured the information.
My Grand Vision
My ultimate vision is a community where individuals have well-documented life journeys that can be shared where all individuals benefit from the knowledge and wisdom individuals have documented.
The resulting life journey stories will be available for generations to come. They will generate wisdom on a global level as well as an individual level. Who knows what we will find in terms of health, personal development, social change with the wisdom from these life journey stories.
Journaled Life Community
It is my hope to build a community of like-minded individuals who want to take responsibility for their lives. Individuals who want to live a purposeful intentional life.
I am excited to share my knowledge of journaling, life design, and the ongoing journey to living a fulfilled life.
Plato wrote, “An unexamined life is not worth living”. I believe we all need to strive to know ourselves and to understand ourselves to give our life more meaning and value.
I hope you will join me on this journey so we can all learn from each other.
